About this experience
Discover 250 years of winemaking history in an experience that brings together vineyard, cellar and table. The Wine Lovers Experience & Gastronomy begins at Bodega EL GRIFO in San Bartolomé, Lanzarote, home of the DOP Lanzarote appellation, and continues at Restaurante EL GRIFO in Mozaga, just six minutes away by car.
You'll start with a welcome glass of sparkling wine before walking with a guide through the Viñedo de lo Imposible and its century-old chabocos, enjoying an immersive tasting surrounded by volcanic scenery. The route continues through the Wine Museum, the original 1775 winepress, and the family Library, a cultural space inaugurated by poet José Hierro.
The day closes with a gastronomic menu designed by chef Juan Rioja, pairing local produce with a selection of the estate's wines for a fitting finale to the island's flavours.
