About this experience
Step into the Wine Lovers Experience, the most iconic tour at Bodegas EL GRIFO, the oldest winery in the Canary Islands, located in San Bartolomé, Lanzarote. Over 120 minutes, our guides will lead you through century-old "chabocos" and the original wine press of the historic winery, now home to the Wine Museum, where the founding stone from 1775 is preserved.
The visit continues through the Family House and the library, honoured by Nobel laureate José Saramago, two spaces that tell the story of a truly unique viticulture under the Lanzarote Designation of Origin. Every corner of the tour is living proof of 250 years of winemaking tradition.
The experience ends with a guided tasting of 6 heroic wines from Lanzarote, paired with a selection of Canarian cheeses. An exclusive visit, limited to 12 people, designed for adults only.
